Tree Lighting Instructions
|
(A)
Figure #1
Work from top to bottom. The top-most portion* should be done by only
one person.
|
 |
Figure #2
Once you've worked down to a hinge**, the tree can be lit by two people,
still working from top to bottom.
|
|
35-50 light sets recommended.
15-20 sets per 7 to 8 ft. tree, depending on the type and spacing of the lights.
A. Begin lighting with the plugs at the bottom. Bring the rest of the
light set up to the top, working closest to the center pole. Wrap lights
around branches.
B. Start at the center, working outward to the tip of the main branch.
Then, work back inward on the same branch.
C. Move toward the next branch again from the center to the outer tips.
Work one row at a time until finished with that row, then move down to the
next row repeating the same procedure.
End at bottom of tree so any extras can be woven back into the tree.

(B)

To hook, wrap light cord securely around a light husk.

PRE-Lit Tree ASSEMBLY Instructions
|
|
5 to 61/2 foot pre-lit trees:
For packing purposes, the tree tops will not be attached
to the main section of the tree. However, they will be
wired together.
Carefully remove both sections from the box, keeping them close together,
and insert the top section into the bottom.
There will be two male plugs at the bottom of each tree. These can be
connected to an extension cord with two outlets.
|
|
7 to 10 foot trees:
Larger trees come in three sections. The top and middle sections come wired
together in the same manner as the 5 to 61/2 foot trees.
Carefully remove the top and middle sections from the box and insert top
into middle.
The bottom section is lit separately. All sections end up with the plug
at the bottom.
Seven to ten foot trees need two extension cords to safely distribute the
power without risk of overload.

|
Please note... Light sets will work as long as all the bulbs are INTACT.
Should a set not light, it is possible that just one bulb is not properly connected.
By running your hand over the light tops, you can sometimes find the problem bulb.
DO NOT connect more than six light sets together for any reason, as this will cause
the lights to blow out.
